Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is an actor most well-known for her role as Bo on the Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She is director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with most fond memories of watching TV and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials when she was just a child. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Her early theater experience includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. She met her new spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an acting training located in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got married in December of 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. They renewed their vows on the 10th of April in Fredericton in a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk is a variety of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for a Gemini Award in 2009 for her performance. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk told fans of the show her good announcement that she became pregnant during the filming of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was presented by Showcase during an exclusive Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the premiere. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the show was coming back for a fourth season of its production. Fourth season debuted on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN named Bo's portrayal along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about television couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
